I'm happy to announce the creation of new ranks! As you know, up until now the highest rank possible was 16. Now I have added 10 more ranks beyond this, i.e. 17-26.

Who will be the first to achieve Rank 17?

If you're curious what the new rank shields look like....













... you'll have to rank up and find out!

As you can see I've made all new, higher-resolution versions of our ranks. I've kept the symbols for R1-15 the same. R16 you'll notice has changed... we will keep the Skull logo reserved for the highest rank possible (which is now R26). (Hint: It continues following the logic of atWar's original counting-based system of symbols, up to R19. Starting at R20, we embark on a new system.)

By the way, if you want to start ranking up a little faster, I'm trying out a new 3x SP boost option in-game. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

I thought I'd share the original rank spreadsheet from Afterwind (2017) (a project I worked on previously outside of AtWar): These ranks seem to have made it officially into AtWar now, sans post-15, as well as my more recent take on hi-res AtWar ranks circa May 2019. Glad to see rank updates... despite my extreme discontent with R20+ especially, but no matter.

Browsing experience on Safari (one of the most used applications globally-wise) was perfect so far. And it does'nt make sense to foul it in order to be ready to Victory's 2025 farming campaign.

Is it only me, or when you move your mouse over the new rank icon, when selecting units from a stack in the field, like this:

the small selection window closes? The icon does not seem to have the same property that keeps the window open (like it used to have).

If I am some newcomer I would say that r16 shield is more like r6 (5+1). R7 and r11 almost same.
