When the war on terror came we didn't throw down a large number of troops, we had memorial services on the T.V for every soldier that was killed, the PM attended all of them.

In this sense, Stalin was a traitor to the very notion of a leftist emancipatory global movement. Tito (the original) knew that, as did Buenaventura Durruti, Trotzky, and many other leftist leaders that were back-stabbed and/or instrumentalized by the CCCP-elite.

USSR/Russia never invaded other sovereign and independent country.
USA/EU/NATO invaded atleast 50 in just modern era. Most of them when they had crisis, system collapse, or just poor.

On a serious note: Tito's trying to say he believes that all of those invasions were orchestrated and planned-out by the West. I'm sure The West had some involvement in some of it, but it's pretty hard to trust a empire federation that boasts such heroic leaders such as Josef Stalin, and glorifies nuclear culture to this day.

Czechoslovakia - political crisis, civilians started attacking army, army barracks and bases, soviets interfered to protect miltiary equipment. Soviet army from Poland, Hungary, Romania with Warsaw Pact allies crossed Czechoslovakian borders to send reinforcement. Not invasion
Hungary - rebellion and anti-communist movement. Soviet army interfered to save Hungarian comrades and Hungarian Communist Party. Warsaw Pact crossed border to help restore order.
Afghanistan - Technically and it looked like invasion, it can be called invasion, but Afghan government was CCCP ally. Soviet army just entered to sweep out talibans, terrorists and extremists.
Baltic was 300 years in Russian Empire, Stalin just incorporated it back where it belongs.
Central Asia was Russian 100 years, CCCP just incorporated it back.
Finland was Russian for 100 years, Stalin just wanted to take it back where it belongs.
So Scotland, Wales, Venice, Central Asia, the Baltics and Finland should have no right to independence?

And are you praising Stalin? Am I reading something wrong? Stalin starved millions of Ukrainians. Sent children and adults to the Gulags, you can't deny he was evil. But I did hear he did it for the good of Russia though, but he was still evil and made Russia a totalitarian state, there was only one party and that was the Socialist party.
