Not sure if anyone has seen this collab series by the BBC and HBO, very scary and pretty accurate predictions of what our society is heading towards in the future. I reckon we are only few years from this reality..

What sort of bubble do you live in to think any of this is accurate? It really exposes your surface-level comprehension of how power operates. Democracy at its fundamental level is the privatisation of power. Power is bought and sold rather than fought with axes and spears. The Lords of today fight economically and psychologically within a nation state. We are the pawns within their competition and due to their influence, we are susceptible to their messaging which molds our personal worldviews. Liberal Democracy is a very powerful form of social control. Liberal Democracy gives the citizen the illusion that they decide how the state and power operates. They don't. This is dictated by the corporate class who also manages social thought through media. IQ Testing as a method of screening citizens isn't a terrible idea, neither is it a solution, but it's not one the corporate class would want implemented. Those that pass these tests would become a class unto themselves and would suddenly hold all the cards. They would be highly competitive against the current corporate power structure, eventually replacing it because their franchise would dictate to the rest. Those unable to vote would be disenfranchised and suddenly aware of their inability to impact state management. The illusion of choice would break and the citizen would no longer feel responsible for their lives and the state of their society. They would suddenly become hyper-aware that they hold no power at all and would lay the blame for any negative consequences on both the new class of high IQ voters and the Corporate class that rules over them. This leads to radical thought, collectivism and violence. That is usually the time when Kings get beheaded and bankers get lynched. Clearly, they don't want this. The Corporate class want expansion of the electorate, they want mass immigration, they want squabbling highly competitive underclasses who fight one another and fail to see who is actually in charge. They don't want them collectivism or creating power groups which can challenge elite authority. They want mediocrity, dumb tv, addiction, broken families. It's all great for profit and perfect for short term control. Look at this very show. HBO is a private company that is part of a grand conglomerate of mass media owned by people in the single digits. They promote interracialism, they promote homosexuality, they created a show which attacks the very notion of meritocratic suffrage. HBO is telling you what it wants. It wants you anxious for a fictional future, it attacks meritocratic management which might challenge their authority, it wants to normalise that which is not normal and to deracinate the populace to carve them up into special snowflake hyper-individualist identities incapable of opposing their power. The show isn't scary. It's not an honest look at society and sure as shit not a pathway that any current elite hierarchy seeks to implement. They want the opposite. They want low IQ, low moral character groups of vastly different identities in resource scare economic environments that are highly susceptible to stimuli they create and manage for their interests. The true horror is how well this worked on you and how unprepared you are for their incredibly malicious plans. Just look at the storylines and key features:
This is supposed to be a 'villainous' action. Not caring about some far-off ridiculous conflict that has little to do with us or has any impact on us is somehow villainous. Bullshit.
lol
Lol
LOL
LOLOL. This is fantasy land for neo libs.
Oh please...
I really dislike Trump but this is such a blatant 'ORANGE MAN BAD' moment. Pathetic.
'ASSAD MAN BAD'. Yeah guys, the 4D chess playing Syrians are the ones manipulating our society. It's totally not the Israeli's.
Cure harrowing analogy to the plight of third world immigrants crossing the Mediterranean.
Why would anyone want to mass murder people with lower than average IQ?
This is dumb. Really, really dumb. This is filled to the brim with hardline neo-liberal talking points and bullshit anxieties. It's classic propaganda. It gives this weird illusion that the British state has no agency, no authority and doesn't engage in acts of espionage and is at the threat of Russian/Syrian influence leading to some rocky horror fictional fascism that wants to.. exterminate less intelligent people and lock up the gays? Fake news.
It's pretty shocking how close our worldviews have merged over the years.

It seems that conspiracists are as prevalent on the left as they are on the right. Sure, business executives will conspire to make more money, but I don't see the problem in it so long as it doesn't harm the consumer. I understand the evils of crony capitalism, but allowing free markets to dictate prices is not bad in and of itself. Products are cheaper and more plentiful, the poor are better equipped to become income mobile, and society benefits. I recognize that some elements of liberalism, such as multiculturalism, are no longer tenable and have serious implications on the development of civilized society. However, a liberalized economy and a liberalized respect towards others, even homosexuals and homophobes, is essential to the functioning of a free society. Correlation between the rise in homosexuality, single motherhood, drug use, etc.. and the rise in global prosperity—especially among the poor—does not mean that the "elitist" class of CEOs is conspiring to indoctrinate future generations. If you can show me the facts and evidence, then I'm more than willing to change my mind. With regard to corporate monopolies, there are two ways to look at monopolies. One perspective says that if a company is too big, it's a monopoly. Another perspective says that if a company does harm to consumers, it's a monopoly. My understanding corresponds with the latter. If a company is jacking up prices or, for example, price gouging, it's a monopoly. Most of the time they're able to do this because they have engaged in a form of regulatory capture where they are working with the government to shut people out of particular industries. As far as I'm aware, Amazon and Google are not monopolies. They provide the consumer with cheaper and more plentiful products than smaller businesses can provide. This is called capitalism: the production of cheaper and more plentiful products through voluntary exchange. However, I understand where you're coming from with regard to Facebook and Google and their monopoly on communication, which is unique in our day and age and separate from market monopolies. Facebook is not a media platform, it's an editorial site. If Facebook prints something libelous then it should be be sued. If Facebook engages like an editorial site, then it should be treated—legally—as an editorial site and that means being responsible for the content that appears on its platform. Facebook and Google are run, almost exclusively, by leftists executives. This is unmistakable. I think that, ultimately, we share two different perspectives on what the media is. There's the elitist and pluralist perspective; the elitist says that the media is the mouthpiece of the elites and manipulates public opinion in accordance with elite preferences. The pluralist says that media is independent and capable of scrutinizing what the government is doing while assessing the merits and demerits of its policies. I adhere to the pluralist model, but I recognize that the media is not independent and is almost always biased towards one end of the political spectrum. This is counter-productive in modern society and I'm sure we both agree on that. Don't get me wrong, I am completely against homosexuality and the perversions that the left advocates for; I'm a Catholic, but I'm still able to recognize intolerance which you clearly possess. I find it highly disturbing how you assert these wild claims about some mysterious, elitist class floating in the ether of modern society. People want money, this is not illegal. When people do illegal things to get money, that is illegal. I'm not denying that crony capitalism exists, I'm denying that it is remotely as influential as you say it is. If everyone you meet tells you you're drunk, you're probably drunk, Tik-Tok. I think you're getting ensconced in a cozy, communist echo chamber along with your friend, Andartes. There's a difference between adhering to principle and unwavering devotion to a particular worldview. I adhere to principle, if you're able to provide convincing evidence that there is a network of CEOs conspiring to bring the working man down, then I'll listen to what you have to say. Until then, I'd suggest you stop espousing these conspiracy theories, clearly you're trying to indoctrinate the masses into becoming cis gender white males (sarcastic). Jokes aside, it's important we have mutual respect for each other and opposing views, I could have worded this more kindly, but I'm completely open to whatever criticism you have of this response.

How about an in between? How about a free society—just as my founding fathers wanted—where people are free to be atheists, homosexuals, racists, and all the rest. A [edit: government] that imposes homosexuality is no better than a [edit: government] that imposes atheism. Or are you really so much of a Neo-soviet ideologue that you wouldn't support such a society.

Society doesn't impose anything. For millenia. If it was up to society to decide, gays would be executed on site and atheism wouldn't exist. We don't create labels here, no 'neo-soviets', 'communists', 'capitalists'. Only political parties use labels for their name and that's where it ends. And even they don't use the words like Left, Right, Center. Not even Communism, just 'good old days' when they want to descrive the past with less crime, violence and happier families. Only in May i hear everyone calling historical Germany 'fascist' and that's it. Hyper-labeling started in the West few years ago, it was never a thing here East.

Because i didn't know what's the situation in the West. I didn't know about Antifa, Political Correctness, acceptance of homosexuality and transexuality, radical feminism, (some) opposition to western governments. In the East, West looks like one united front, war machine that every citizen supports, before you check the internet. Here, we're at gay parades, and it makes huge social disturbance, governments push it but society rejects it. God knows whats gonna happen when they import political correctness and trans problem. And on top of this, i meet you, claiming to be Fascist, from the West. Here, we either call WW2 invaders 'Germans' or 'Fascists', not nazis, because that word is invented later in the West, and you boasted about their ideology. They are directly and indirectly responsible for 27 million Soviet/Russian deaths, 3 million Poles and 1 million Serbians. All Eastern Europeans. Then comes Cold War, which was West vs East, and now again West versus East conflict (Serbia 1999 and Russia 2014) Then next thing is that when i was talking about fascists, i was thinking about eastern european, german collaborators, who mostly survived into the 90's and helped separate communist states into independent democracies. So you assumed i am antifa but i didn't even know about them until i found out about them in 2016 aprox. They accuse everyone of being nazi, i just have problem with nazi collaborators who directly harmed me (my state and society). Now combine all this, and you will understand why it took years to synchronize our communication frequencies.
