When attacking a city that is out of your view range you cannot check what units you just sent in.
It says 'out of visible range' when you hover the cursor over that city but that makes no sense when for your own units.

Yeah, that's so you don't cheat and just move back the units after you've seen what's there.
It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Yes that is clear. But you misunderstood me.
What I see as a bug or a flaw of the game mechanics is that the unit counter of the city (the small window in the screenshot)
doesnt give you any information about your OWN units when you attack a city outside of your visible range.
One should be able to see what type of units and how many of them are being moved.

I imagine it has to do with the 'out of visible range' status of the city itself.
