A Few Ideas:
Allow for unit transfer between players (allowing for arms sales and indirect support in war)
Allow Trade Agreements for boost in income for both players.

The first one is unrealistic and can be abused.
Imagine someone latejoining, spawning a shitload of units then giving them to his friend in the game. There are a lot of ways for it to be abused.
Besides, with the current system u can give money and land, therefore u can give money and reinfs, same as giving army.
Now, ur second suggestion is just unnecessary.

well i think the second suggestion is quite intresting but it would support allyfagging and unbalance the game so...maybe a little little bit trade (maybe more in some secenarios)
