An interesting option that would deter early leavers: In order to connect to a game, the players must put up some of their SP into the pool, and then divided among the winners of the game. The player can have their SP back if they leave on the first and second turn. (Wallfuckers) The SP to play is determined by the host before the game is started, as an additional option.

I support this idea! Encourages people to play. Furthermore it add a new way for people to get SP easily. As for the first turn issue, maybe we could make walls in a 1 movement range radius not breakable till turn 2.

Don't support the idea. Players with more SP would have the advantage of being choosy with games. It would be like poker: if you have more chips than the other players you have an advantage. Besides, joining games shall remain free! "Paying" SPs is still a way of asking resources from players. Finally, why should only the winner recieve the SPs from the pot. The idea was to get less "quitters" from a game. In this case - besides my general opposition to the idea - it should be that players can recieve back their deposited SPs if they fullfill certain requirements: not being quitters! Cheers, CD

I agree with CD if people do not quit then they should receive the SP they paid to join. In fact its SP for whose winning already just by capping them.
