Yes, while people still debate about government and stuff, there are small countries like Netherlands, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Denmark, who are able to provide their citizens what they need. Poverty and unemployment is not really a problem there.

We should all take a look at what makes those countries successful, actually.

Ex: NetherLands had build a culture where people uses bicycles to travel almost everywhere, trust, reducing the CO2 and making it easier to move cars around the city.

Assuming you are established on a city, you can always use a bike to go to your job. If you * have to* use another method of transport for get to your job at time then you're definitively doing something wrong (Example: You live too far from your job).

It doesn't have to be directly from your home to your work, by the way. You can also use the METRO or another public transportation system to an area closer to your job, and rent a bike from there. There are just too many benefits not only for yourself (fitness), but also for the earth (less CO2) and your wallet (less money expenses). Indirectly for the country (faster transportation) and you could even save the life of someone (less trafic, ambulances then will be able to move faster).

The only reason I don't go in bike to my university is because there's no place to rent a bike (since that's still not part of our culture, anyway). I'd still prefer to walk those 25 mins from the Metro station to the university than use another public/private transportation.

A job is a job. If you live in a suburb and your job is in the city, I don't think it's wrong that that person will use a vehicle to drive to their job. If you lived in New York City, you would know that most of the people driving are from outside of the city. Anyone of us who actually live din the city usually walk or use public transportation to our job.

you're also assuming the person doesnt need to move things along with them, also, biking across an entire city is unrealistic, its too far and makes more sense to use a car, or, as you said, take the subway, train, or whatever the city has. Cars are also necessary for other things, going on vacation, seeing relatives, etc.

True that, like concentration camps, death camps, world wars, weapons of mass destruction, genocide of non-europeans, colonization of other continents, destruction of continental native culture and traditions, exploitation of resources, destruction of enviroment and nature.

White Europeans are like parasites draining energy of the host, then moving to settle on another victim.

It was not Yellow people who invaded Europe, neither Black Africa to exploit Asia. It was White Europeans who come to Africa and Asia with guns, Yellow people had Silk Road to connect them to Europe, they trade while Whiteman kill and plunder.

But bright future is in front of us. Africa is liberated from the chains of Europe, Asia is rising while North America and Europe are choking in debt which will soon lead to poverty thus making white race unable to wage wars anymore.

All continents are able to coexist peacefully except Europe and North America, so after they are crippled (by themselves), we will finally obtain planetary peace and freedom.

Poland - Lithuania is probably the best counterexample I can think of. Competent (white) people ruled by other white people, and they got annihilated because they had an astoundingly stupid government system.

As a non-European "yellow person", I probably should be offended, but bleh. I really cannot be bothered.
But note how Japan has turned itself from backwater irrelevance to global power in just 60 years after reforming their government, and continues to lead technological innovation today. Also note how South Korea, once it was independent, turned a $800 million compensation from Japan into one of the biggest steel industries in the world, worth hundreds of billions, and developed its 225 million mark support from West Germany into one of the most rigorous education system on the planet. Note how Singapore tops the world in academic performance, coming neck-to-neck with Finland's world-class test scores.

Note how there are beggars in Belgium, and people in the Netherlands who make a living by collecting tips from drivers in roadside performances. There are sections of Malmö that I was advised not to visit, even in daytime.

When I went to Western Europe for vacation, I was very surprised, actually, at how stupendously poor and dangerous these countries were. I was expecting better from countries with $40,000+ per capita income.

but seriously, the racism here is really off the charts, fact is, all germanics either were involved in WW2 or very close to WW2 and therefor became rather pacifistic, and peaceful times in well organized states almost always lead to good economies.

there are other states that work almost exactly like small european germanic states, for example, hongkong (east china coast), singapore, japan, korea, mumbai, even iran had a huge economic growth before we sanctioned them.

Which is better:

A left-wing civil rights paradise with no money or a right-wing economic powerhouse where the poor are left to fend for themselves?

It is exactly that, West is economic powerhouse, but that power lies in luck and skill of half (generally speaking) of population, while they dont help other half which failed or didnt had luck. Hence, they have more money/wealth because they dont spend on the poor and those in need of help.

Let me reply there, didnt see before: I dont agree on this issue with you. Because it is up to people to create their country Global Power or backwater irrelevance (if they are independent and free of course). I consider the government only group of people which allocate funds in the country. Since basically Government is group of people called Cabinet of Ministers. Each minister run particular ministry in the country, if some thing is of great importance to the state, they create ministry (secretariat in USA i think its called) for that. Financials are important therefor Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Russia have Ministry of Oil and Gas while Congo have Ministry of Forests. Each country have similar and different ministries according to their needs. But reforming the Government/Cabinet/Ministries is not enough for a country to prosper and grow.

East Asians are by nature talented, hardworking and innovative, even before Capitalism (see Japan's economy in the late 19th century). It is that trait that made Japan great power it is today. Same for South Korea. North Korea would be economic powerhouse as well if Communist Party allow them private business, where they can be innovative.

I take my country for example, Russia, the government is reformed during Putin's presidency, but country is yet not strong enough as it should be due to reformed government. They calculated: Before reformed government, Russian GDP per capita was $900, 15 years later GDP per capita is $15,000, thanks to reformed government, investment and incentives. But if Japan was in Russian position, their GDP per capita after 15 years would be $30,000 thanks to reformed government AND hardworking innovative population. Thats twice as much as Russian.

Other examples are South Korea, Israel and Greece, their economies skyrocketed thanks to hard work. Other example is Germany, but we should note that they had great external help due to politics in the Cold War. I wont comment Netherland, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland as i dont think they are hardworking and innovative, but that they just had time and freedom (continuation) to build such strong economies.

Beside, use United States as example for government non-interferance in economy. From 1775 to 1900, US government didnt interfere in the economy and pretty much made it grow by itself, it grew due to people's creativity, strong will and hard work.
I think the only difference between Japan growth and US growth was that Japan was homogenous and had to invent and create everything alone, while America was made by immigrants who brought skills and experience from their home continent and just implemented it in economy.

I'll rather live in poverty without electricity than have culture, bicyclies and reducing CO2 paid by blood diamonds.

I cant find counter-argument for Denmark and Switzerland, they didnt made their wealth on the suffering of non-white.

Putin's policies are working towards creating welfare state with nordic model. The very word 'Putinism' (unofficial it is ofcourse, like Stalinism, it is not official doctrine like 'Marxism' or 'Leninism' or 'Marxism-Leninism') mean mixing Socialism and Capitalism to create good system, by taking good things from both systems - just like Scandinavia is doing (and Germany - they have Social Market Economy).

But it also mean to use vast natural resources to speed up development, like Saudi Arabia is doing (95% of Saudi business, revenues, taxes and development comes from selling oil). Of course Russia cant use bycicles in large cities, but Russia doesnt have many large cities, mostly medium and small, and they can reduce greenhouses and stop using cars. Plus Russia have small population which is good (not burden) to enviroment, pollution should be low.

Of course being neutral is understandable and Russia is working on that, but it have to defend when other countries attack using alliances, organizations, sanctions, military and terrorism.

Nevertheless i expect Russia to become best welfare state after Norway and Sweden, because it is so easy, just sell resources and fund welfare. Free market and free trade will boost people's wealth and standard of living even further (especially with large markets like Europe and China which border Russia).

---

Iran and Iraq are next potential welfare nordic model states (if we take in consideration their natural wealth). But instability on Middle East is very serious issue which slow down their progress, it will take decades for terrorism to cease to exist there so economies can start developing naturally by people trading among themselves across the border.

But creating nordic model without natural resources in this modern world is impossible today in my opinion, because of crisis, terrorism, wars and sanctions. Its just impossible when you work hard and create system but simple economic sanctions cripple your income from trade.

pushing that hard for bikes in this day and age is...juvenile and futile. And just not practical. Cars are a very importand and needed technological advancement, we need them. Transportation amounts for a little less than 20% of greenhouse emissions. A realistic step is more alternative energy fueled means of transportation, higher car prices and taxation, better public transportation and more money on research. Nothing more you can do.

Now if you are serious about protesting against pollution and protecting the enviroment, start with the energy sector, namely OIL, COAL AND GAS that accounts for more than 50% of greenhouse emmisions and OVERPOPULATION and CAPITALISM that drive the need for them. Its CORPORATIONS like BP and SHELL who sabotage research for cheaper and more effective alternative forms of energy, like wind, solar, water and most importantly NUCLEAR ENERGY. Same as with the weapon manufactorers who push for wars, the biggest oil/coal CORPORATIONS sabotage research and hinder politicians from implementing policies. Along with the corporationists come the retarded conservatives and neo-libertarian egoistical SHEEP who support minimum government intervention to save a few bucks for themselves, not realising they are giving CORPORATIONS the green light to keep oil, coal and gas the only available forms of energy.

While you are at it, you can actively protest about overconsumption and OVERPOPULATION cause its the driving force behind this disaster. We dont need more people. We need less. Chinese, Indians, Middle East and Africans are doing a wonderfull job, trying to destroy mankind, by multiplying at this rate. Church is also doing alright, fucking us, with anti-condom policies in africa and anti-abortion propaganda worldwide, keeping the rates up. Speaking of Chinese, the biggest cancer to humanity of the 20th century was not Hitler and not Stalin. It was China becoming developed and industrialising. CHINA is responsible for 1/4 of the worlds greenhouse emmision and also pollution by other means. Not only is the biggest producer but at the same time the biggest importer of fossil fuels as well. CHINA was NOT ready to become CAPITALISTIC and its economic growth is for humanity the same as a cancer cell growth is for a human. USA while behind, almost by half, is responsible as well, directly and indirectly and refuse to accept and ratify the treaty, to protect its oil corporations and their interests. Keep in mind EUROPE is the only continent/union/countrie that actually follows enviromental policies and decrease its emissions. I have only one thing to add. If Africa ever becomes developed, we are all fucked.

Other sources of greenhouse gas are agricultural sector, namely cows farts and deforestation, so you can start calling North americans fat faggots every day, cause they are the leading country in consumption of animal products by far.

Bottom line, if you want to be an enviromental activist, start by protesting/preaching/ trashtalk against OIL/COAL CORPORATIONS, WEAPON MANUFACTORERS, POLITICIANS, BANKERS, JEWS, CHINA, USA, OVERPOPULATION, RIGHT WINGERS, CAPITALISM. These are your real enemies and not cars.

Moscow have 14 million citizens.. From beginning of the city to the end is 100km, imagine you live in one part but your work is in the other, you just cant drive a bike 100km to reach your destination, it will take two days. But i agree bus, metro and taxi is best option in big cities, plus pedestrians will have more space to walk and no pollution. Not to mention how crazy Russians drive, there would be 90% death rates among bikers.

Also, it is good to mention that it is not good, neither fair to raise tax/tariff on cars in Russia, to discourage people to buy, because then poor cant afford it and rich will be a**hole showing off with cars, they will think they are superior social class, aristocracy. Norway can afford such laws because they dont have poverty, their society have equal wealth distribution.

Thats like when Russia raise tax on alcohol, so poor people couldnt afford it while rich enjoyed in good drinks, so poor started to use chemicals to produce home-vodka and you had mortality in millions, worse than in war. Just ban the god damn thing. Same with cars.

And i am jealous of Swedish King going to the supermarket on bycicle, waiting in line with plebs. State shouldn't spend tax money on expensive cars for politicians.

1. Deindustrialize Europe and America. When USSR collapsed - Russia deindustrialized itself.

2. China declared war on pollution, let's see how that goes, scientists say China is winning and pollution started to shrink. They plant more trees than they chop down (ratio 2:1). They paid coal industry to shut down and fund nuclear and renewable energy. Plus they have One-child policy.

3. United Nations can order India to distribute condoms and contraception pills, create one-child policy. Same with Africa. Russian population is dropping 1 million each year, until 2050 it can hit 100 million, pretty enviromentalist. Plus Russian Government spend heavily on preserving wildlife, brought back few tiger and leopard species from extinction, orders from Pamela Anderson.

Oh for fuck sake! There are histories about 108 years old cubans who still works in the farms and you're telling me that an old person can't afford riding a bike?

I don't know where my father left that book... I've search in the internet and the max age worker I've found is at 80 age. Probably because Cuban people doesn't have access to the internet in their majority. http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-a-70-80-year-old-male-cuban-tobacco-farmer-sits-and-works-with-his-48176151.html

At least people with 80 or less age should try to ride a bike instead of driving.

There are only three justified reasons to use a car for me.

1. You've got an emergency (or event that requires you to be fast there).
2. You are a true old person (at least 80 or more years).
3. Public transportation system is really that far from your home (but you should rather consider moving in the city than buying a car).

For everything else (i.e: getting to your job) you should consider waking up earlier.

<good points about pollution and overpopulation>

Napisao Khal.eesi, 25.09.2015 at 11:50

Church is also doing alright, fucking us, with anti-condom policies in africa and anti-abortion propaganda worldwide, keeping the rates up.

You've forgot to say that the Church is also the one against people having sex before marriage, and also discourage people to divorce.

<other good points>
These are your real enemies and not cars.

Anyway, my point is about building a good culture, and I consider using public transportation AND bikes instead of cars is a good culture. Do you disagree?

Moscow have 14 million citizens.. From beginning of the city to the end is 100km, imagine you live in one part but your work is in the other, you just cant drive a bike 100km to reach your destination, it will take two days.

This argument is still unanswered:

You can also use the METRO or another public transportation system to an area closer to your job, and rent a bike from there.

You won't ride the bike from your home to your job, if it is that far. Just from the closest METRO to your job.

But again, how can someone lend a bike to another person, if the other person can always decide to steal it? Also, if the person who rent the bike puts high taxes planning to recover the cost of the bike in case it is stolen, then, how can the person who rent the bike know that the guy is not a robber? In both cases there is simply no trust to do that, at least, not in my country.

But i agree bus, metro and taxi is best option in big cities, plus pedestrians will have more space to walk and no pollution. Not to mention how crazy Russians drive, there would be 90% death rates among bikers.

Disagree with taxis.

State shouldn't spend tax money on expensive cars for politicians.

Tito for president...

Here in my country every car have to stop just to give access to the politicians. They use the AMET (traffic police) to stop the other cars to let them cross... Apparently the semaphore is only for poor people.

1. Deindustrialize Europe and America. When USSR collapsed - Russia deindustrialized itself.

you cant just deindustrialize the leading nations of the world. thats stupid. But you can make reforms, restrictions, new policies and research. Russia accounts for 5% so still a little irrelevant compared to China, US and Europe.

Napisao Skanderbeg, 25.09.2015 at 12:48

2. China declared war on pollution, let's see how that goes, scientists say China is winning and pollution started to shrink. They plant more trees than they chop down (ratio 2:1). They paid coal industry to shut down and fund nuclear and renewable energy. Plus they have One-child policy.

It declared shit. If you are talking about the EPL its still very new, lets see first. It is said its very difficult for the EPL to be enforced, due to the complicated legislations in the country and all the beaurocracy and corruption that exist. The problem is too big now for China to solve it, without making it a top priority and suffer the economic losses. Same wih one child policy, too little too late. At least thats my opinion, i hope im wrong and you are right.

Napisao Skanderbeg, 25.09.2015 at 12:48

Un aint doing shit. Africans are still at it, 35 african countries have over 4.0 fertility rate. The church who dominates ideological and physical contribution in africa DECLINES to give condoms and guidance and international organizations refuse to promote contraception. all those excess billions of starving, diseased, broken people will compete for OUR resources soon, they already are.

India fertility rates are droping indeed, but again not as fast, they already are too many. Keep in mind Hindus have 1,5 fertility rate while MUSLIMS have 3.0 in India. Muslims are the problem and India already have a great percentage of the world greenhouse gas emission.

As for the muslim population globally, mainly middle east, they have a 3,1 fertility rate. Baby producing factories creating armies of illeterate, backwarded, religious zealots. The more developed the Middle east will get in the future, the more catastrophic effect they will have on the enviroment.

Russia i ll admit is doing good on some stuff, like protection of wildlife, keeping population in check and cutting on industry pollution. but its still poluted, water is 50% toxic and waste management ineficient, until 1990 it dumped its waste in Japan waters. far from saints, but still better than the rest, ill give you that.

I've been thinking that the UN will only work if it had the biggest forces in the world.

There are only three justified reasons to use a car for me.

1. You've got an emergency (or event that requires you to be fast there).
2. You are a true old person (at least 80 or more years).
3. Public transportation system is really that far from your home (but you should rather consider moving in the city than buying a car).

For everything else (i.e: getting to your job) you should consider waking up earlier.

ok let me give you a simple example, just for getting to work. work is 10 hours. need 1 hour to get ready ( iron clothes, bathe/shave and etc) so that makes it 11. with a bike i would need 1 hour to get to workplace and 1 to come back. that makes for 13 hours. You are already asking alot. Not only that, but biking in the sun for 2 hours is really demanding, you would get to your job already tired and when you came back, if you came back, you wouldnt be able to do anything for the rest of the day. Not to mention you would get sweaty and dirty, you and youry clothes, even before you reach work. Not to mention winters are cold and then theres the rain. And not to mention i prefer going to work in my car chilling, listening to music, drinking cold coffee, smoking and talking on the phone

not mentioning nights when you go for drinks in nice clothes and your hair done, not to mention jobs/events that need good, clean, ironed shirts, not to mention when you have to carry stuff or other people or even take your dog in the car. Bikes are just not practical. Also i like to keep undeliberate contact with other people to a minimum. i prefer my car to public transportation because i want to do the things i need to do without having to talk, see, smell other people and i prefer strangers and random people to be far the fuck away from me. The world is already a crowded space, i believe every human has a right to some privacy and isolated transportation.

offcourse i agree. i just think its not realistic and practical. A perfect public transportation will help immensly tho and more bikes are always good. but faggots who are manly and hairy and go around biking in tights and spandex, like we have here is a big NO
