Turkey got backstabbed by what they considered a friend an ally. very sad. ironically, turkey is still labeled as one of the "bad nations" and often critisised for making trade and and military deals with iran, russia and china as if the critics are the ones who can judge another nations progress

That is not problem at all, don't view it from neoliberal angle, but from a capitalist one. I still remember when italian lira was 10,000 to 1 dollar 40 years ago and it was not a problem at all, because value is still 1:1 You have to understand that for 6 turkish lira you can buy same amount/value of turkish stuff as american can for 1 dollar, there is no advantage over no one(minus state subsidies of certain stuff).

Actually it comes from China, just the company is registered in United States. But still you pay in domestic currency, not foreign, that's the whole point of domestic economy and local market. Prices in your country are made according to demand, so the ones for PC in your case are probably affordable (for the requirements you wish), and your state have anti-monopoly law which doesn't allow stores/companies to arrange prices across the country, which helps you alot.

Do what i do then; check the prices in neighboring countries, one can probably have cheaper stuff you want, then try to order (check for shipment cost), or give money to some trucker to buy it for you (we all have such friend) when he's driving that route. Be aware that second option is illegal according to neoliberal laws, but still we deserve such freedom for commodities so go ahead if you're not afraid (usually police doesn't address such petty contraband).

Turkey brought this upon themselves by being the first ones to backstab those that considered them allies and side with those it had been granted assistance to defend against. Turkey is not criticized for making deals with Iran, Russia and China. It is criticized for invading another nation for no reason other than because they felt like it, censoring everything its government doesn't like hearing (Wikipedia and fucking Minecraft are such great threats to social security, and let's not talk about how much screentime the political opposition gets on TV), discriminating against its ethnic minorities for decades if not centuries, denying proven historical facts about crimes they've committed, failing to maintain a democratic system and falling under the regime of a tyrant, and constantly provoking its neighbours with nationalistic bravado. The Greeks of Smyrna and Pontus, the Armenians and the Assyrians paid dearly (with their homes if they were lucky, with their lives if they were unlucky) so that Kemal can turn Turkey into a modern, progressive state, and the Turks of today spit on his legacy, though to be fair it's far from all of them as Erdogan's government does not truly hold a majority of votes regardless of what he'd like you to believe. I can only hope that the Turks will not fall sway to Erdogan's populist propaganda speeches and truly realize what they've been dragged into, so that they can crawl themselves out while they still have time. Better cut down on those fridges.

It ai'nt even because of democracy (Insisting to preserve democratic and liberal way would prevent it. But that's not the motive for the sanctions). Do not follow his propoganda as though west is sanctioning them to dictate their life ways. The problem is Ergdoan for so long took advantage of the wealth turkish citizens produced for him to mock insult and violate soveriegn civilans and countries to build himself an ego and reputation. When he did this to small countries like Cyprus Armenia Greece and Syria (no offense Syrians. on good days Syria is very powerful nation), he had only wins because Turks were benificial to western economy so he could act as though he is God without consequences. But you do not kidnapp priests and citizens of a superpower just to convince your people that there is a conspiracy against your nation and to prove yourself powerful. Western governments are heavily drvied by economical considerations so in many cases they prefer to ignore the problems and act like they do not exist. and therefore they are very often being underestimated. When Al Qaida planned 9/11 they knew the locaitons of nuclear sites which could end with countless time more deads but they desided to avoid it because they did'nt want USA to start war over it. Seems like history repeats itself.

I don't know what your own definition of "imperialism" is, but to me, occupying territories of a foreign country without its permission to which you don't have any historical, cultural or other such claims and then colonising it with people aligned to yourself counts as such.
