Hi guys,

I never make a (shit)post like this, but I just wanted to see if anyone saw my dad recently. His name is "Dave," and he left to get milk some three years ago. Me and my few dozen other siblings previously belonged to an Estonian gay couple, Amok and Ivan, but Dave took us in -- only to disappear a year later. He still sends child support through his Somalian hamster-run server business. He said he'd be back with milk any day and sent us a letter a few months ago saying he was busy milking a cow at 2 AM and he'd be back this winter. I've seen him drive past our home a few times, but sadly, there is no milk.

Does anyone know where he is? Our family is going through a tough time, and we really need him to come back.

Hello, Dave here, your friendly neighborhood atWar developer. They released me temporarily from the insane asylum where I've been for the past 10 months. My wife and I decided to use this small reprieve to get away for a few days. We stayed in a place that had no cell phone reception whatsoever, which was awesome. Now I'm back, and on my last evening of freedom I find myself thinking about how my OTHER insane asylum (atWar) is doing.

I'm glad to see things are still rolling along, more or less the same as always. It was especially nice to see how Amok came and said "hi" not too long ago. (Hi back at ya!)

I miss my peeps who I haven't talked to in a long time like Sid, Croat, Brian, Estus, Pavle, my atWar "wife" MrPhobos, my atWar "daughter"-I-never-wanted Zoe, and everyone else I'm forgetting at the moment because it's 2am (sorry!)

I'm a week late posting about the Playoffs, so I'll extend the season an extra week in case you need it. So, coalitions will have until Monday night, August 29, 2022, at 11:59:59 PM (U.S. Central time), to complete the 1st round. (If you need more time, just let me know...)

As always, if a coalition declines to play, they will automatically forfeit and their opponent will advance to the finals. If a coalition forfeits they will not be eligible for any prizes for this season.

World Map 2.0 has arrived!

Our new map has officially been released. Big thanks to the Game Meta team for completing this massive project! Be sure to check out the presets as well

We are eager to hear your feedback so we can make further adjustments and improvements. Please let us know what you think.

Don't worry, the original World Map will always be available, forever -- but someday we plan to make World Map 2.0 the new default map, so we want to get it right.

Thanks to all our donators who contributed to our Support for Ukraine fund, we raised 17,256 ProtoCoins together. I have turned this into a $173 USD donation to the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee. I also decided to match what you raised 1-to-1 with my own funds, and donated another $173 to the Red Cross.

UPDATE 3/17 -- after a couple more last minute donations I was able to donate another $122 to the Red Cross. This brings the grand total raised to $486 USD. A heartfelt thanks to the atWar community -- there truly are some good, kind people here. ♥
